plus4dBu is a boutique music production entity created by Casey ‘Schpilkas’ Dunmore (caseydunmore.com) offering original music for TV, Film, Video Games and other multimedia outlets where quality and fresh production music is needed.
Casey Dunmore, best known as Schpilkas, began his “musical” career with a demo deal at Qwest Records/Warner Bros in 2000. That same year, Casey was the winner of the Tommy Hilfiger Unreleased Cuts Competition, he was featured in Rolling Stone, URB and Spin Magazine as an up-and-coming producer.
The Los Angeles-based, Brooklyn native has racked up an impressive number of film, television, and video game credits. Casey has written theme songs for reality TV show Tia & Tamera (E!/Style Network) and the NBA Toronto Raptors. Featured placements include ESPN’s First Take, NIKE’s Vapen Sessions, Our Family Wedding (Fox Searchlight Pictures), Jimmy Kimmel Live (ABC), and Top Spin 4 (2K Sports). As a composer for Hi-Finesse Music & Sound, Casey has placed original music & sound design in trailers for Tyler Perry’s Acrimony (Lionsgate), Glass (Universal Pictures), Get Out (Universal Pictures), Call of Duty ‘Advanced Warfare’ (Activision), Kubo and the Two Strings (Laika/Focus Features) and Watchmen (HBO).
Most recently, Casey has produced songs for actress and singer/songwriter Ella Jay Basco (Birds of Prey). Their first singles, the indie pop “eye to eye” and “Bubble Tea” have been well-received by tastemaker radio station, KCRW, enjoying airplay on the popular “Music To Make You Feel” program with host Francesca Harding.
